About Us
Hi, I’m a 25-year-old woman who has been managing my PCOS holistically since my diagnosis in 2020. Like many, I was passed around by medical professionals, placed on three different birth controls and metformin, but was never given clear information about what PCOS truly was or how to manage it. The only advice I received was to “take the pill” and lose weight, neither of which provided lasting solutions. After many failed attempts and frustration, I gave up on trying to “fix” my period and simply accepted that it would always be painful.
However, in 2024, when I hit an all-time low—gaining weight, feeling exhausted, and experiencing unbearable monthly pains—I decided enough was enough. I visited doctors once again, but unsurprisingly, the same old treatments were suggested. I refused them and walked out of the doctor’s office not defeated, but determined to find another way. I turned to research, scouring articles and medical sites for natural ways to manage PCOS. It was overwhelming at first, but after weeks of digging, I compiled a list of the main symptoms I struggled with and how to manage them naturally.
A year later, I’ve not only lost 10kg, but my periods are becoming more regular, my PMS symptoms have significantly reduced, and my energy levels are back. Now, I want to help others who are in the same situation by providing easy-to-access, understandable information. I’m not a medical professional, just a woman who was failed by the system and wants to offer the guidance I wish I had a year ago.
